Katherine Ranieri holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from Virginia Tech and is a licensed architect in Washington state. She began her career at architecture firm Olson Kundig, where she worked on three Dowbuilt projects, spanning Northern California to Hawaii.

A strong believer in the preconstruction process, Katherine is an expert at using digital modeling to analyze costs, detect potential issues, and prepare for construction. This proficiency not only enhances the efficiency of the construction process but also ensures that projects are delivered on time and on budget.

While embracing Dowbuilt's ethos of curiosity and creativity, Katherine draws from her design background to offer a unique perspective on construction challenges. Her experience working on both sides of a project grants her a holistic understanding of design intent, ensuring that every aspect—from conceptual vision to practical implementation—is thoroughly considered during the modeling phase.
