Rey Melendez

Rey is skilled at on-site management of subs and employees as well as communicating with architects and client teams. He takes great pride in achieving the precise architectural intent of complicated builds and dedicates countless hours to research and planning. His calm demeanor and analytical problem solving ability make him a great team leader. 

Rey’s favorite part of a project is installing finishes. He loves seeing how the long planning meetings, hours of troubleshooting, and multiple rounds of mock-ups all come together to create a unique finish. His years of finish carpentry and framing experience contribute to his success and make him an invaluable senior superintendent.

When not on a Dowbuilt project site, Rey enjoys building Jeeps and going off-roading, hiking, traveling, beach days, and BBQs.
