With 15 years in residential construction, Hugo thrives on helping clients and designers realize their vision while navigating the realities of the construction process. Simply put, he advocates for the client, translates design intent for architects, and serves as a job site resource for his team. Trust and transparency are central to his approach, enabling a level of candor and cadence among stakeholders that creates cohesion and momentum on his projects.

Raised in rural Wisconsin, Hugo’s passion for building started at an early age. From endless projects remodeling the family farmhouse to restoring a vintage sailboat with his dad, he developed a lifelong appreciation for creating and improving the built environment.

Hugo holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Texas, Austin. He joined Dowbuilt in 2021 to help launch the region and lead several key projects in Texas.
