Ron Ledin

Ron has been passionate about woodworking and building all his life, growing up in a family of hearty Norwegian loggers and carpenters in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Construction taps into his creative nature and love of problem-solving complicated design ideas. 

Ron started in construction in 2001 as an apprentice carpenter in Minnesota and joined Dowbuilt in 2016 to work as a finish foreman on a large and complicated multi-phased estate in Northern California. His talent proved formidable, and he continued with the same client on a second design-intensive and multi-phased project in Southern California. He finds great satisfaction in transforming a complex set of drawings into a beautiful residence at the end of each of his projects. 

In his off hours, Ron enjoys hiking, snapping landscape and wildlife photos in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains, and doing personal woodworking projects.
