Seraphim Gonzalez, senior project manager for Dowbuilt

Seraphim Gonzalez

Senior Project Manager

Seraphim's path into construction began with a hands-on education. After purchasing a 1941 bungalow, he spent five years restoring the home and uncovering a deep passion for carpentry, welding, and the integrity of skilled craftsmanship—ultimately leaving a career in finance to pursue it full time. Three years as a framer, finish carpenter, and field welder gave him a ground-level understanding of how things are actually made.

That foundation set Seraphim apart when he transitioned into project management, first overseeing an architectural metalwork and woodwork fabrication studio in Los Angeles, then managing both historical restoration and estate level ground-up construction projects. These roles have sharpened his eye for quality and understanding of the variables that shape schedule and design.

Seraphim leads Dowbuilt projects with honesty, precision, and genuine respect for craft. His field experience allows him to spot constructability challenges early and surface them before they become costly, grounded in the belief that difficult conversations held sooner create better outcomes for everyone. Clients, architects, and field crews alike find him a project manager who earns trust through transparency and holds projects to an uncompromising standard.
